Saturday 10th February 2018

Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice and Birmingham Moseley Rugby Club invite you to join them at this exciting event, taking place to raise vital funds for your local Hospice.

Our challenging 10 mile walk starts from the Hospice in Selly Park. You will follow a set route, through parks and along the canal, to finish at Birmingham Moseley Rugby Club. You will be joined by members of the Club to watch the Six Nations match between England and Wales, on a number of big screens.

This promises to be a great day out for all rugby fans and supporters of the Hospice, whether you walk on your own or in a group with family and friends.

The Walk

All participants will meet at Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice, Selly Park, B29 7DA at 11:00am for registration and pre-walk refreshments

The 10 mile walk will start at 12:00pm and we expect everyone to arrive at the Rugby Club by 4:00pm.

The walk passes through Moseley Village, where you can stop off at The Village Pub for refreshments (tea and coffee will be provided free of charge and you are welcome to buy yourself a beer!)

Pie ‘n Chips & a Pint

Upon arrival at the club, you’ll be ready to relax and watch the rugby match. We will be providing a FREE Pie ‘n Chips and a pint (or soft drink for under 18’s) to all walkers, to show our appreciation of your hard work

There will be a cash bar available for further refreshments.

The Rugby

In the rugby club's clubhouse, you will be able to watch the England v Wales Six Nations match (KO at 4:45pm) with members of the Rugby Club and other rugby fans. We will be working with the Club to prepare an outstanding evening with activities, a raffle.

Getting Back

We will be providing a coach transfer for all walkers from Birmingham Moseley Rugby Club to Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice (if you wish to have one). Please let us know by requesting the coach transfer upon booking, to ensure we have enough space for everyone

The event will officially finish at 7pm, but you are welcome to stay at the club for a few more drinks.
